Welcome to the Sky Sports page, Sky Sports offers a huge amount of sports coverage with Premiership and Championship football, cricket, rugby, golf, motor racing, tennis and many other sports being covered. Sky Sports is a premium package on the Sky Digital network so you will have to pay a subscription to receive Sky Sports, if you do not already have Sky Digital you can sign up at the Sky Digital web site and choose Sky Sports when you sign up.

The main attraction of Sky Sports is usually the Premiership football and Sky Sports shows lots of Premiership football games with most weeks seeing at least 2 games being shown within the Premiership season. The Premiership games shown usually include the biggest games with the biggest clubs but they also show lots of other games with the smaller Premiership clubs and Championship sides, they show quite a few Championship and football league games so if you like lower league football then you will be happy with Sky Sports. Sky Sports also has the great Soccer AM which offers a funny look at football with comedy and entertainment, Soccer AM is on Saturday mornings.

Sky Sports also offers extensive coverage of the cricket which includes the Ashes and the test games throughout the summer. There are lots of cricket matches throughout the summer on Sky Sports and they also cover lots of teams and countries as well as most of the England matches.

There is also the Sky Sports News channel which is included in the Sky Sports package, Sky Sports News is great as it covers news coverage for sports all day long. Sky Sports News is excellent for keeping up to date with the latest sporting events and news and is also great for keeping up with the football on Saturdays as they always have the latest news.

There are four main Sky Sports channels that show a variety of sports so there are not channels that are dedicated to a specific sport, this is due to the way that sports change seasonally so the main Sky Sports channels cover all of the major sports. There is also a Sky Sports HD channel which offers sports coverage in the high definition quality which is a great way to watch sports events, this is only available through Sky HD though so you will need that equipment and subscription if you wish to view that channel.
